Job Summary
Liddiard Home Furnishings is seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery & Warehouse Associate to join our team! In this hybrid role, you will play a vital part in both warehouse operations and customer deliveries. You’ll assist with receiving, organizing, assembling, and preparing merchandise, as well as delivering household goods directly to customers.
We are looking for someone energetic, customer-focused, organized, and able to manage a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Deliver a wide variety of furniture and household items to multiple customer locations and routes.
Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles.
Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes.
Follow all DOT regulations and safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally during every delivery.
Receive, process, and organize incoming inventory and materials.
Pick and fill orders from stock accurately and efficiently.
Assemble furniture and other products as needed.
Pack and ship orders when required.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse conditions.
Manage equipment, tools, and supplies.
Support high productivity and activity levels daily.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to drive multiple types of delivery vehicles (e.g., box trucks, express vans).
Minimum 1 year delivery experience.
Able to lift and move 50–100 lbs. regularly.
Able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours per day.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills and ability to maintain positive customer and vendor relationships.
Assembly skills and forklift/pallet jack experience are a plus.
